I would have to go with a medical tricorder since the usefullness of the device speaks for itself.

    a romulan war bird

    • Justin McLachlan

Hmmm…. the things you could do with that.

Oh, boy. I’m not really sure what to say. I’m not a Trekkie, but my 4 year old is! LOL! :) He would like *anything* Star Trek.
Thank you for the chance to make him smile. :)

    • Justin McLachlan

Are you sure he’s a “trekkie” and not a “trekker” — I never know which one to pick.

Um, duh…a teleporter would be by far the most useful. Never have to be worried about getting stuck in traffic again.

    • Justin McLachlan

Phrasing there, friend… in Star Trek they’re called transporters, not teleporters. :)

  • Mary B

I’d want a transmuter, so I could convert my thoughts into physical objects, in addition to being able to mess with people’s minds.

Transporter! I would transport myself out of Iowa to somewhere warm and sunny, everyday.

    • Justin McLachlan

That’s probably the one that will take the longest :( That and a replicator.

Shannon, Capt. Kirk made it out of Iowa without a transporter!

    teleporter, go whereever i wanted

  • Donna Evans

As long as it is star wars its cool, but really like a transporter just to take me away on bad days

Ah……the cloaking device that was, um…”borrowed” from the Romulans…being invisible would have loads of advantages. Transporter’s not a bad one either..but I’ll take the cloaking device. (Funny how we all have communicators, already – anyone remember the first “flip-phones”?)
    Make it so!

I would have myself and my friends transported to the beach.

That’s easy – the transporter! I now “enjoy” a 1-2 hour commute in LA’s worst traffic and this would not only alleviate it, but make it possible to zip home to feed the pooch, or have lunch on the patio. Of course it would also open up much more than that – imagine going wherever you want instantly and how that would open the world up to you. :-)
